Connor's Corner is 'Open' Again...!

Connor and Elijah, 2012

Dear Family and Friends,

I stopped posting on this blog site four years ago but am delighted to reopen it again.  I especially want to keep extended family updated on what is going on with Connor these days.  I also want this photo journal to be a cherished legacy that Connor will be able to share with his own children one day, too.

I would like to just catch everyone up quickly with a few life events:  Connor has been back home with us in West Columbia for a little over a year now.  He is working for a contractor at DOW in Lake Jackson and is learning how to be an electrician.   He is passionate about body building, tennis, and learning his new trade.

I am VERY proud of Connor, and I praise God for what the Lord is doing in Connor's and our family's lives right now.   I have many photos to post but will only upload one or two every couple days or so as my schedule permits.

This photo was taken in the fall of 2012 along the Columbia Lakes Country Club golf course.  Our house is a short walk down the 16th fairway to the tennis center.   Connor and Elijah were on their way for a little practice session when Monica snapped this photo.

Aren't those wonderful smiles?  Monica really captured a precious moment here.  These guys love each other very much and it definitely shows in their faces.   Let me just say that 'God's Love' has transformed our family relationship.

Of course, I love that Connor and Elijah both love tennis, too.   Monica and I are both avid tennis players, too.  You will see lots of fun family tennis photos in the upcoming weeks and I know everyone will enjoy them.

Let me say this about Connor's Tennis.  He is Good,  REALLY Good.   In my twenty five years of coaching I would rank Connor athletically in the top three players I have ever coached.  Both the other athletes played college tennis for major universities, and one of them even played on the Mens Pro Tour.

At 21 years of age, Connor still has a shot playing pro tennis if he wants.  Connor is the kind of person that is going to excel at what ever he puts his mind to.   Right now He is a little more passionate about body building than tennis.  But whatever his passion is, I am going to love him and encourage him.

Monica, Elijah, and I are very much enjoying this season of having Connor back home with us.  God is Good!   Will post more photos again soon.

If anyone has photos of Connor when he was younger and would like me to publish them here please email me at http://coachsam@chadwelltennis.com.

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas,

Sam Chadwell
